However, because students now apply to more institutions than ever before, navigating the process has increasingly become a challenge. Parents aren’t as familiar with the process, are busy with other children and careers, and are worried their students are overlooking details. Students are balancing over-filled schedules.
Creative College Composition’s mission is to simplify the process, chart the course, inspire creative thinking, and make each student own their own application process along the way as they refine and choose the schools that are right for them.
Students will learn and be reminded to partner with College Guidance Offices in beneficial ways and to advocate for themselves. The end result is LESS STRESS on everyone!
Sarah Hamlin of Creative College Composition brings her attentiveness, insight, and creative energy to inspire students to find their particular voice and share the unique stories that make them stand out. Our students are already accomplished writers, thinkers, and achievers. Having an objective coach to encourage, support, and run ideas past fosters creative writing in exceptional ways.
Meg Graves, an adjunct professor at SMU Cox School of Business, now also brings years of experience working to guide and mentor students to pair passions, strengths, and aptitudes to design the best college and career pathway possible. She will use recognized assessments with a professional interpretation to chart unique ways for students to find fulfillment as they begin to determine colleges and majors that suit their talents.
